Alters Servers

Alters Servers

Altar servers in the Catholic Church are young members of the parish who assist the priest during Mass and other liturgical celebrations. Their role is to help create a smooth and reverent flow of the service by carrying the cross and candles, preparing the altar, holding the missal for the priest, and assisting with sacred vessels during the Eucharist. Beyond their duties, altar servers also represent the parish’s commitment to nurturing young people in faith, discipline, and service, allowing them to take an active role in the life of the Church.
