The Corpus Christi Immaculate Conception Sodality currently has a total membership of 66 members. The Sodality falls under the Diocese of Gaborone, Botswana, under the leadership of Archbishop Frank Nubuasah, and the spiritual guidance of Rev. Fr. Bolokwe.

About the Sodality

The Immaculate Conception Sodality is a Catholic spiritual group dedicated to fostering devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, particularly under the title of her Immaculate Conception, the belief that Mary was conceived without original sin. It is a sodality within the Catholic Church formed to promote spiritual growth, prayer, and acts of charity, focusing on devotion to the Virgin Mary as a model of purity, humility, and faithfulness to God.

Main Objectives

  • To honor and imitate the virtues of the Virgin Mary, especially her purity, humility, and obedience to God.
  • To deepen members’ spiritual lives through prayer, the sacraments, and service.
  • To promote Marian devotion within the parish and the wider community.
  • To encourage acts of charity and service to the poor, the sick, and the marginalized. Member Commitments Members of the Sodality are expected to:
  • Attend Mass and receive Holy Communion regularly. Pray the Rosary, Marian devotions, and novenas.
  •  Participate in retreats, meetings, and community service activities
  •  Celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (December 8th) with special solemnity.
